My (CONDENSED) Astrology Story
I spent the first 30+ years of my life thinking astrology was bullshit! Sure, it was fun reading the newspaper horoscope or finding my birth year on the place mat of the Chinese restaurant. But, astrology being anything serious? Nah. I've always had interest in astronomy, quantum physics, psychology, and all things eccentric, but I didn't stumble upon the deeper meaning of astrology until well until adulthood. After a spiritual awakening and an emotional crisis spurred me to start looking for answers (which hit the fast track in December 2012), astrology found its way to me!
The synchronistic seed was planted when I heard someone mention that their dreams seemed to change depending on where the planets were in the sky. I have always been fascinated and quite obsessed with dreams and dreaming (see my Dream Interpretation page). Most of us have heard tales of how emergency rooms seem to be busier during a Full Moon, and that more babies tend to be born during that time. I once had a car mechanic nonchalantly tell me my car would take longer to fix since they were extremely busy due to the Full Moon. I was so intrigued! If just the Moon could have this much effect on us, what else could I learn?
After reading my first book about astrology, I was instantly addicted. I unexpectedly found astrology to be a perfect combination of all my interests and very far from what we read in a newspaper column. By studying astrology, I have gained a new understanding of how others operate and a new sense of compassion. This insight has allowed for strengthened relationships with others and a better sense of Self. I studied and learned under Moon Rabbit for two years. Moon Rabbit is an astrologer in St. Paul with over 40 years of experience. She has been a wonderful mentor to me! I am also a member of the Organization for Professional Astrologers (OPA) and the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR).
As for other tidbits about myself, I live in St. Paul with my musician husband Colin and our numerous furry companions. I am certified in Reiki as well as a Crystal Healing Practitioner. I also have an undergraduate degree in Psychology. I spent 17 years working for Intellectual Property Law Firms before I launched my astrology practice.

What to expect in a session
Choosing an astrologer is a big decision! I encourage you to read my reviews on Google or Facebook. I will not edit or change these reviews in any way. I was once contacted by a company that offered to delete any negative reviews that I received online and I said NO WAY! I encourage people to report their honest experience of a session with me so you may make an informed decision. Sessions take place via Zoom video conferencing.
I currently practice Western astrology and incorporate the Placidus house system. I also practice what is called Evolutionary Astrology. I think of it as the study of your Soul's growth and development through lifetimes. If you come in for a session, do we have to look at the past life indicators in your chart? No, we don't! I can absolutely do a reading without looking at these symbols.
I cater each session based on what each client requests. If you don't know what type of session to book, that is OK! I get a lot of general requests from individuals saying they are drawn to astrology and want to learn more, but they don't know where to start. I recommend starting with a thirty minute birth chart reading if you aren't sure what exactly you are looking for. That is all it really takes for you to know if astrology is something you want to learn more about!
Before each session, I do a short meditation asking "Meredith" to get out of the way so the information that comes through to you is what you need to hear. If part of your story starts to remind me of my own, I will let you know that so you (and I) can be on "alert" for any of my personal bias to come through. I want to offer you a session completely free of judgment, completely confidential and one that is completely comfortable for you.
Astrology is a fascinating and beautifully symbolic language that we all have access to. Born wonderfully unique and amazing Earthlings, the sky provided each of us with a map. This map is unique for every person on Earth. I'd love to look at your horoscope (i.e. your map) with you! I truly believe that the outer visible universe reflects our own wonderfully complex and rich inner universe.
